The ETI had a significant presence at this year’s Low Carbon Vehicle Event (LCV 2009), which took place on the 9th & 10th September at Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire.
Dr David Clarke gave a keynote address as part of the opening session of the main seminar programme on 'Accelerating market growth for plug-in vehicles by enabling effective collaboration'.
The ETI also hosted a unique interactive ‘Day in the Life’ experience exhibit throughout both days of the event (please follow this link.)
The only interactive simulation of its kind, the unique 15-minute immersive experience enables better understanding of how electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles can be used, how they can be recharged and what they might be like to live with.
As one of four partners for the event, the ETI is working with event organiser Cenex and fellow partners the Technology Strategy Board, the Department for Business Innovation & Skills (BIS) and the Department for Transport (DfT).
