The Prime Minister announces the ETI's first collaborative research programmes
19 November 2007
Speaking at a WWF seminar in London today, the Prime Minister announced the Energy Technologies Institute's intention to launch its first formal call for Expressions of Interest in early-to-mid December 2007.
The first call will ask companies and research institutions to submit expressions of interest in working with the ETI on making step-change improvements in reliability, installation cost and operating cost of offshore energy systems - particularly offshore wind turbines.
Full details will be published on the ETI website in early-to-mid December 2007 and interested organisations can register to receive these as soon as they are available, by clicking the research funding link above.
